Hands on teaching
Today the clinic was a little slow for an hour. One of our therapists was seeing a patient but two of the employees were not on the floor. I also have an intern who wasn’t on the floor. So curious as to what they were up to I went looking for them.
I found all three of the reviewing our protocols for the lumbar and cervical spines. A new hire who was recently trained, an old intern who became an employee were all training the new intern. I smiled and stepped away.
My employees are not only bright, but by teaching our protocols they are reinforcing the knowledge that they have. In the words of Sonny and Cher, “and the beat goes on.”
